Perry Johnson News

Perry Johnson is not included in the presidential debate by the Republican National Committee.

Perry Johnson, a businessman who unsuccessfully ran for governor of Michigan last year, was not allowed to participate in the presidential debate by the RNC.

“The debate process has been tainted, no doubt about it. Every RNC-recommended metric was reached by our campaign, and as a result, we have qualified for the debate. Wednesday, we’ll be in Milwaukee, Johnson wrote on Twitter.

According to a source with knowledge of the situation, Johnson, who attempted to run for governor of Michigan last year but was found by the state’s elections department to have submitted thousands of bogus nominating signatures, was rejected by the RNC because he did not meet the necessary polling requirements.

Johnson asserted that a Victory Insights poll met the criteria for being considered a national poll, despite the fact that it was only conducted in 38 of the 50 states, leaving out nearly 24% of them.

He has expressed intent to file a lawsuit.

Corrupt David Bossie who was fired for ripping off @realDonaldTrump made the decision to exclude the McLaughlin poll because he supposedly worked for President Trump. He also excluded the Victory Insight poll claiming it wasn’t a national poll, which means he clearly doesn’t…

According to the source, Johnson was disqualified since there weren’t enough nationwide polls.

Candidates must score above 1% in numerous national polls, among other requirements, in order to qualify.

“For more than two years, the RNC fought to construct a transparent and equitable primary system that will give our ultimate nominee the best chance to defeat Biden. The RNC leadership and members of the debate committee were in frequent contact with candidates and campaigns during the qualifying period, according to RNC Spokesperson Keith Schipper. Campaigns were fully informed of the requirements to qualify for the first debate.

Similar complaints are being made by other applicants who did not advance as Johnson.

To be eligible for the debate, eight Republican contenders had to satisfy the RNC’s fundraising and polling requirements.

They include Sen. Tim Scott (S.C.), former U.N. ambassador Nikki Haley, former Arkansas governor Asa Hutchinson, former New Jersey governor Chris Christie, former Florida governor Ron DeSantis, former North Dakota governor Doug Burgum, and former New Jersey governor Chris Christie, according to the RNC.

Donald Trump, a former president, announced he will skip the opening debate.
